- Ni Hao
-
Ni Hao 你好 is one of the most common greetings used in the Chinese language. It is made of two words - Ni (你) meaning "you" and Hao (好) meaning "good".
Ni means "you", so you would say this to only one person. By adding the ma, the literal meaning would be "you good?" or "how are you doing?".
Ni Hao can also refer to:
- Nihao Teahouse, the name of an Ottawa based company that sells products such as tea (loose leaf and liquid), bubble tea, and various tea accessories.
- Ni Hao, Kai-Lan, a Canadian/American children's television show, which premiered on Nickelodeon on February 7, 2008, and on Noggin (now Nick Jr.) on February 2, 2009.
