It is located east next to THSR Taichung Station to which it is connected via a direct passage way.

Overview
The station is a huge building whose interior construction has not been finished as of 2009. Only a single corridor is opened, leading from the HSR station to the TRA platforms. There are automatic ticketing machines and ticketing staff, but no ticket office or other infrastructure. Instead, shops, restaurants, bus stations, and parking facilities of the HSR station can be used.
