New Island Books is an Irish publisher literary fiction, poetry, drama, biography, politics and social affairs.

Overview
New Island was founded as Raven Arts Press by Dermot Bolger in 1977.[1]
Raven Arts Press was closed in 1992 and re-founded as New Island Books by Bolger with Edwin Higel and Fergal Stanley. New Island continues to be a major and deeply respected force in Irish publishing today.
New Island Books is a member of Publishing Ireland.[2] Publishing Ireland (Clé) is the support organisation of Irish publishing, sharing information,expertise and resources.
