It is due to begin construction in 2013 and will have a capacity of 43,000 spectators. [1] It will be the new home of FC Girondins de Bordeaux of Ligue 1. It will also be used to host some matches for the UEFA Euro 2016. It will replace the club's current home, Stade Chaban-Delmas.
