Nerwik — Village — Coordinates: 53°45′N 20°49′E / 53.75°N 20.817°E Country Poland Voivodeship Warmian-Masurian County Olsztyn County Gmina Purda Nerwik [ˈnɛrvik] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Purda, within Olsztyn County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) north-east of Purda and 22 km (14 mi) east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1772 the area was part of Kingdom of Poland, 1772-1945 Prussia and Germany (East Prussia) and was called Nerwigk in German.[2]
