Nerita polita is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Neritidae.[2]

Description

Nerita polita has distinctive smooth and polished shell, up to 4 cm.[3] It has smooth columella with 2-4 weak teeth on the edge.[3] Colour is variable, mottled grey, red or cream, sometimes with axial bands.[3] Operculum is smooth, cream to black.[3]
