Description
The "Nature Belle" is made of green, natural, organic, sustainable materials that where collected from the Milwaukee Area. The structure was completed by intertwining different types of willows and reeds together with nylon rope. The Belle was held up by a Box elder tree that stood approximately 45 feet in height. The Belle was in diameter about 35 ft. The Belle rested at a focal point in the middle that gave it support and also allowed to to sway and move freely. Karen Wolf at the Hank Aron trail contacted Staab to do this site specific sculpture.
