The National Museum of Turkmentistan (Saparamyrat Türkmenbaşy adyndaky Türkmenistanyň Milli muzeyi), also known as the Sparmurat Turkmenbashi Museum, is a museum in Turkmenistan.[1]
The museum was opened on 12 November 1998.[2] . The museum has seven permanent galleries incorporating history, present day culture, and ethnography.[3]

The museum has a large archaeological collection. Prominently displayed items include those from Old Nisa and from Merv.
Numismatics
The museum has an unpublished collection of coins associated with its archaeological collection.
