The National Dental Board of Anesthesiology (NDBA) is an American professional association established in 2001 by the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. Based in Chicago, NDBA is the world's largest national dental board devoted to sedation and anesthesia.

Purpose

The purpose of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology is to elevate the standards of dental anesthesia and to advance the art and science of anesthesiology in dentistry in an effort to provide optimum health care.[1]

Members

NDBA Membership is open to all board-certified dentist anesthesiologists, oral and maxillofacial surgeons and members of the ADBA. Since 2001, Diplomates of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology and the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology have been allowed to obtain ADSA Fellowship without a second examination process.[2][3][4]
