The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) is a non-profit organization with the purpose of coordinating the regulatory powers of the various state and territorial boards of nursing in the United States.
The NCSBN is the entity responsible for developing the two licensure examinations for nurses: the NCLEX-RN and the NCLEX-PN.
The NCSBN is headquartered at Chicago, Illinois.
