The Institute of National Memory (Ústav pamäti národa) is a Slovakian public institution with an objective to provide access to the undisclosed records of the activities of the repressive organs (secret police) of the Slovak and Czechoslovak states in the period of oppression in the years 1939-1989.
The institute provides Slovakians access to victims, dissidents and the general public.
