He played in the FC Barcelona first team for eight seasons between 1966 and 1975, alongside players like Johan Cruyff, Salvador Sadurní, Hugo Sotil, Carles Rexach and Juan Manuel Asensi. He won the league season 1973–1974. Although not a fixed starter, he was an often used substitute who came on in the second half to strengthen the offensive play.
He debuted in the Barcelona first team on 16 October 1966 with Roque Olsen as the coach in the derby catalonia, against RCD Espanyol at the Sarria stadium. Barcelona won that night 0–2. He played his last game almost nine years later, on 6 April 1975 in Vigo against Celta de Vigo. They defeated the locals 1–0.
