Ferdinand (Nand) Baert (February 16, 1932-April 28, 1985) was a Flemish radio and television presenter.
Baert was born in Ghent in 1932. He was a well known Disc Jockey on Radio Luxembourg, he was also the Flemish commentator for the Eurovision Song Contest in 1956, 1958 and 1960, he also hosted the Flemish heat in 1965 and 1969. He was married to RTBF presenter Arlette Vincent in 1962 and had two daughters. After a long time of illness Baert died on April 28, 1985 [1] six days before the Eurovision Song Contest 1985 Final.
