Nancy Mowll Mathews is an American art critic, curator, and author. She was the Eugénie Prendergast Senior Curator of 19th and 20th Century Art at the Williams College Museum of Art,[1] from 1988 to 2010.[2] Mathews is the author of Mary Cassatt: A Life and of Paul Gauguin: An Erotic Life (2001).[3][4]
