Najlah Feanny

Najlah Feanny (born 1961 in Kingston, Jamaica W.I.) is an American photojournalist. One of only three women in the world to hold a Newsweek Magazine photography contract, Ms. Feanny covered politics, the American landscape, breaking news, feature stories as well as documented stories in dozens of countries around the world.

She is the co-founder of the Heart Gallery of New Jersey where she brought together 150 of the countries top photographers to photograph children in foster care to promote their bid for adoption. ABC National News named her the "Person of the Week" for her efforts. She went on to found, Do1Thing"To use the power of storytelling to shine an “ongoing” light into the many dark places that affect our most vulnerable children and teens."

She is the founder of Design for Social GOOD. "Design for Social Good is a design and development company leveraging creative media and Web 2.0 technologies for social GOOD. Using innovative design solutions to highlight critical social dilemmas, we take a fresh approach to solving old problems."
