Nairuhi Alaverdian

Nairuhi Alaverdian is a famous Armenian singer from the Nagorno Karabakh Republic. Her career began in 1968 in Nagorno Karabakh Autonomous Oblast when she graduated from Stepanakert's Sayat-Nova's college for performing arts and became lead singer of the Nagorno-Karabakh State Dance Ensemble.

Since 1978, Nairuhi was the star performer of the “Karabakh” folk band. Nairuhi has performed Armenian songs and dances, as well as those from other post-Soviet states.^[1]
