Nagai R. Muralidharan is an Indian musician and Carnatic violinist. He had his initial training in music from Smt. Komalavalli at the age of seven and continued his violin under Shri R.S. Gopalkrishnan. He has been a regular stage performer for over 40 years now, and has accompanied many leading vocal artists from the late Dr. Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer to Shri T.M. Krishna. He has the unique distinction of accompanying other leading artists like T.R. Mahalingham, Master Shashank and various leading instrumentalists, and is a regular accompanist for K J Yesudas, Sanjay Subramaniam, N. Ramani, Trichur Ramachandran, and more. He has been awarded innumerable titles and awards during his span of service, including the Kalaimamani award.[1] Since 1980, he has toured almost all countries in the world as an accompanying artist and has been acclaimed as one of the eminent accompanying artists.
