In august 1944 is in the village worked allies military airport "Picadili Cup"
The local church in the settlement is dedicated to Saint Gertrude (Slovene: Sveta Jedrt) and belongs to the Stari trg Parish.[3]. It has an ornamentally painted wooden ceiling from 1723 and wall paintings dating to 1511.[4]
