Association football
It is currently used mostly for track and field meets and football matches, and is the home ground of the Norwegian Toppserien team Stabæk Fotball. Former tenants include and Bærum SK—the men's team of Stabæk moved to Telenor Arena in 2009, but their B team still plays at Nadderud. Matches for the U-21 national team has also been played here.
The record attendance is about 10,000, from a 1970 cup match where Stabæk played Strømsgodset. Ahead of the 1996 season, a new main grandstand with seating for 2,900 people was opened, costing 15 million Norwegian krone (NOK). It increased the seating at the stadium with 1,400 seats from the old grandstand.[1] The municipality installed flood lights ahead of the 2005 season.[2] Stabæk moved to Telenor Arena for the 2009 Premier League season.
From 2009 the stadium is the home pitch of Stabæk's women's team Stabæk Fotball Kvinner (SFK), who play in the elite Toppserien league.
Athletics
The stadium hosted the European Cup in Athletics, First League for Men, in 2000.[3] Domestically it has hosted the Norwegian Championships in 1966 and 1985. It annually hosts the country's largest track and field meet, Tyrvinglekene.
Bandy
The Norwegian bandy final was held here,[when?] when Strømsgodset IF under a heavy snowfall beat Stabæk IF 3-1.
