- New Zealand Dairy Board
-
From its formation in 1961[1] until 2001 the New Zealand Dairy Board (NZDB) was the statutory board in control of the export all New Zealand dairy products. It operated through a global network of marketing subsidiaries, based in the countries where New Zealand dairy products are sold.
In 2001, the Dairy Board was merged with the two largest New Zealand dairy cooperatives (which represented 95% of the industry) to form Fonterra.[2][3]
