NJVC is an information technology (IT) solutions provider supporting the federal government and the United States Department of Defense. The company supports intelligence, defense and geospatial organizations, including the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). NJVC was founded in 2000 and currently has more than 1,000 employees in Vienna, Virginia, and Arnold and St. Louis, Missouri. Ninety percent of its staff maintains security clearances.[1]

History

NJVC was established in 2000 as a joint venture between two Alaskan Native Corporations, Chenega Technology Services Corporate (CTSC) and Arctic Slope Regional Corporation Communications, Ltd. (ASRCC).[2] Jody Tedesco joined NJVC in 2005 as deputy general manager and IT/IS program manager and is now the president and general manager of the company. In October 2008, NJVC was approved as a vendor on the U.S. Government Printing Office schedule. NJVC provides a variety of printing and media duplication services, including books, pamphlets, maps and charts, posters and eco-friendly “green” printing projects.[3]

Charitable Giving

In February 2009, NJVC donated $20,000 to Laptops for the Wounded, an organization that provides computers to wounded soldiers to use during hospital stays to keep in touch with loved ones.[4] NJVC’s donation provided laptops for soldiers at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C.[5]
