NIMS University, Rangapur

NIMS University or Bibinagar NIMS is an Indian medical college and a super-specialty hospital located at Rangapur in Nalgonda district in Andhra Pradesh.^[1]

History

NIMS University was inaugurated in February 2009 and the hospital is expected to be inaugurated in 2011.

The Campus

The medical college campus is located on 184 acres. It has a out patient ward and a super specialty hospital is being built on the campus.

The Institute of Translational Research (ITR) is setting up a research center with a capital of 1000 crores.^[2]

Super-specialty hospital

The super-specialty hospital is expected to be completed with a budget of 210 crores.
