NES Financial is a provider of third-party administration solutions for multi-party escrows, 1031 exchanges, and multi-party trusts. It services financial institutions, corporations, and individuals, and has expanded over the past several years to include additional market sectors, and is based in San Jose, California.

Nationwide Exchange Services

Nationwide Exchange Services Corp. was founded in 2005, acquiring Exchanging.com and Nationwide 1031 almost immediately. It served as a Qualified Intermediary for IRC Section 1031 exchanges. In the Fall of 2005, it acquired Cole Taylor Tax Deferred Exchange (a division of Cole Taylor Bank), and acquired JP Morgan Property Exchange (of JP Morgan Chase) in late 2008. In 2009, the company executed a rebrand, phasing out the Nationwide Exchange Services brand in favor of NES Financial to represent their expanded products.

Technology Solutions

The company developed an automated solution to administrate 1031 exchanges. As the company expanded, they expanded their technology to serve multiparty escrows and trusts. Their technology, branded eSTAC, features a real-time customer portal, designed to provide insight into funds accounting processes for consumers during their 1031 exchanges and multi-party escrows and trusts.

Leadership Team

The company was founded by Michael Halloran, currently CEO. Dan Yoder currently serves as COO, Steven Gray as CFO, and Izak Joubert as CTO.

Political Work

The company has recently led a lobbying campaign for federal regulation of the 1031 industry in Washington D.C.
