Plot

The game begins with a cinematic where a sarcastic, ghostly theme park owner by the name of Dr. Dearth (Randy Polk) explains all the info about the game, and mysteriously vanishes. You are then directed to the game.

Gameplay

The objective of the game is to accumulate the needed amount of points to advance to the next level. To do that, you must shoot down as many targets as you can without hitting the tombstones that block your attack. There are many targets that vary in points. including skeletons, skulls, axes, maces, and many more. After either beating or losing a level, Dr. Dearth will either comment or criticize your progress.

  • Example: you lost. "The idea is to shoot the targets, meat-head!"
  • You win: "You know, maybe they'll put... "he did O.K."... on YOUR tombstone!"

Sequel

This game was followed by a 1993 sequel, Mystic Midway: Phantom Express.
