Mychael Urban

Mychael Urban is the MLB Insider for Comcast Sports Network Bay Area. He has a vast resume of sports journalism highlights.

Urban spent a summer serving as the pitching coach for the Slovakian National Baseball Team. The team finished fifth at the 1998 European Championships in Hull, England.[1]

Mychael has been on local Bay Area radio since 2004, and he's hosted KNBR's weekend edition of "SportsPhone 680" before and after every San Francisco Giants broadcast since 2007.

"Aces" Book

Mychael is the author of the book "Aces,"[2] an inside story of the Oakland A's "Big Three" of Tim Hudson, Mark Mulder and Barry Zito.

Personal

Mychael is a native of Redwood City and lives in Livermore with his wife and two daughters.[3]
