My Sister the Vampire is a series of vampire fiction novels for children written by Sienna Mercer.

My Sister the Vampire presents the adventures of two identical twins, Olivia Abbott and Ivy Vega, who play central roles in the story. After Olivia's family moves to Franklin Grove, she meets Ivy Vega, a fashionable Goth teenager who is also a student at Franklin Grove Middle School. They discover that they are long-lost twin sisters, but Ivy isn't just a Goth - she's a vampire, and so are most of the Goths living in Franklin Grove. As the books go on, Olivia and Ivy find tears and laughter in breaking the news of each others' existence to their adoptive parents; never letting the vampire secret see the light of day; finding out how a vampire and human can be identical twins is possible; discovering who their biological parents are, but most of all, the importance of family and friendship bonding.

Switched (2007)

I have a twin? And she's a vampire!? When Olivia Abbott moves to town, she's excited to join the cheerleading squad and make new friends. Then she meets Ivy Vega. At first, Ivy, pale and dressed all in black, looks like Olivia's opposite. Then the girls look beyond the glittery pink blush and thick black eyeliner to discover they're identical twins! Olivia befriends cheerleader Charlotte Brown but figures out if she wants to stay friends with her she can't stay friends with her sister. They switch by taking each other's identity and Olivia helps Ivy get a date with her long time crush Brendan Daniels. Ivy tries very hard to keep her secret but soon it slips out and Olivia finds out that Ivy is a vampire. At the end of the novel Olivia tells Sopia,Ivy's best friend that she knows the existence of vampire.

Olivia and Ivy are brimming with plans to switch places and pull every twin trick in the book. But Olivia soon discovers that Ivy's not who she thinks she is. Ivy's a vampire. And she's not the only one in town!

Fangtastic! (2007)

Olivia is a human. Ivy is a vampire. And they're twins?!? Ever since Olivia discovered that her long-lost twin sister, Ivy, is a vampire, she's been soaking up everything Ivy will tell her about Franklin Grove's vampire community. It's all top secret, and Olivia's sworn that she'll never tell another soul. But now, nosy tabloid reporter Serena Star is snooping around. As she gets closer and closer to the truth, it's up to Ivy and Olivia to throw her off track. This is one fangtastic news story that can't get out!

Re-Vamped! (2007)

The secret is out - cheerleader Olivia and vampire Ivy are twins! Now that Ivy and Olivia have told their friends that they're twins, they have to come clean to their adoptive parents. But Ivy's dad doesn't even want to meet Olivia! Sooner or later, the twins decide to do some research about their birth parents. What a mess they'll get in! When the vampire officials realize Olivia knows the truth about vampires, they demand that she pass three tests to prove she's worthy of sharing the secret. Yikes! One thing's for sure--if the sisters can get through this, they can get through anything!

Vampalicious (2008)

Vampire Ivy and cheerleader Olivia can't lose each other again! Even though twin sisters Ivy and Olivia, separated at birth, have only been reunited for a few months, they can't imagine life without each other. But Ivy's dad has decided to move to Europe - and he's taking Ivy with him! Oh, no! With Olivia's cheerleader optimism and Ivy's vampire craftiness, they're determined to come up with a plan that will keep Ivy and her dad in Franklin Grove. Take Two! (2011)

Hollywood has come to Franklin Grove! Twin sisters Ivy and Olivia are definitely starstruck. Talented teen sensation Jackson Caulfield is shooting a movie in town and everyone wants a glimpse of the star. Especially Olivia, who's had a longtime crush on him.

Ivy is determined to help her sister meet the adorable actor--and actually succeeds! But even as Olivia and Jackson start to really hit it off, Ivy begins to worry that there might be more to that pretty face than they bargained for...like fangs.

Love Bites (2011)

Olivia and Ivy are headed to Transylvania to meet their dad's side of the family, which just happens to be vampire royalty. Olivia is prepped to feel out of her element, but discovers she fits in with the fanged ones pretty well. Ivy is a little less at ease-fancy clothes, royal dinners, and endless curtsies aren't really her style. She soon has a project to distract her, however. the crown prince of Transylvania seems a little too interested in Olivia-is he just being friendly, or is he up to no good?

Lucky Break! (2011)

Lucky Break is the seventh in the series. This title features hot guys, horses and high school hi-jinks! Ivy and Olivia are super excited – their aunt on their mother's side has invited them to stay at her ranch, to get to know them. But she's not in on the vampire thing, and when Ivy scares off her favorite horse, Lucky, the girls have to find him. Or risk blowing the coffin lid off the secret... Meanwhile, the school is putting on a production of Romeo and Juliet. Surely Olivia's boyfriend Jackson – Hollywood teen heart throb – is a shoo-in for the part of Romeo? So when Olivia gets the part of Juliet she's delighted. Only, Jackson isn't Romeo, he's Mercutio. And, even worse, Garrick, the grossest of the vampire 'Beasts' gang, is playing Romeo. So Olivia will have to kiss him - and she hasn't even kissed Jackson yet! Oh my darkness! The twins need a lucky break like a vampire needs blood!

The Bat Pack (2011)

It's the premiere of The Groves, the Hollywood film Olivia had a small part in – as a goth. Jackson, her Hollywood heartthrob boyfriend, wanted to walk down the red carpet with her, but a fashion disaster puts paid to that. And then a top Hollywood producer mistakes Ivy, in her goth gear, for Olivia.

Meanwhile, the twins' biological dad seems to be all of a flutter near Lillian, second director on the film. And Charlotte Brown is inexplicably hanging around with Jessica Phelps, vampire super actress. Plus everyone seems to be copying Olivia's premiere fashion style.

Suddenly Olivia and Jessica are in competition for the lead in a new vampire romance movie, opposite Jackson. At the end Charlotte sends a tribute video which makes all of Jessica's fans hate her.

Twin Spins (2012)

This is a funny, super-girly story with a vampire bite to it. When a Hollywood strike puts Olivia's movie aspirations on hold, she distracts herself from thoughts of her long-distance actor boyfriend Jackson by throwing herself into organisation of the school dance. Little does she know, her twin Ivy is keeping a secret from her: she's off to The Wallachia Academy, the finishing school for vampires. When the surprise wedding announcement of Prince Alex and Tessa comes, the truth is out. But Olivia misunderstands...Ivy will just be gone for the summer, right? Wrong. Characters

Ivy Vega - A shy and gloomy goth vampire who loves fashion and the color black. She is the twin sister of Olivia Abbott and Brendan Daniel's girlfriend and Sophia's best friend.She broke the First Law of Night by telling Olivia the existence of vampire because she couldn't keep it from her any longer.

Olivia Abbott - A cheerful human bunny who loves pink and is a cheerleader on the Franklin Grove High School Squad, twin sister of Ivy Vega. She is Jackson Caulfield's girlfriend. She is also positive and looks on the good side of everything! Olivia knows about the existence of vampires, but passed the Vampire Roundtable initiation.

Brendan Daniels - Ivy's drop-dead gorgeous boyfriend, who is also a vampire.

Bethany Daniels - Brendan's feisty, loving little sister who loves to play with Ivy. She wants to be a cheerleader when she grows up like Olivia.

Charles Vega - Originally "Karl Lazar", Charles ran away from Transylvania to marry a human (the mother of the twins, Susannah Kendall of Andover) and changed his name to Charles Vega in order to conceal his identity of breaking two of the most important Laws of the Night. He is first thought to be Ivy's adopted father but discover he is their real farther.

Susannah Kendall - Ivy and Olivia's mom. She and her sister, Rebecca are twins just like Ivy and Olivia. Susannah died at age 34.She is just like Ivy.

Jackson Caulfield - Hollywood teen heartthrob/sensation who starred in The Grove (movie), and Olivia's boyfriend, starting towards the end of Take Two, the fifth book in the series. He gets the role of the evil person in the production of Romeo and Juliet.

Audrey Abbott - Olivia's adoptive mother. Always trying to make Ivy feel at home when she's at their home.

Steve Abbott - Olivia's adoptive father. He's always willing to try new things.

Sophia Hewitt - Ivy's best, longest, and most trustworthy friend. She's also a vampire who's into photography, filming, and shooting. She is Georgia's biggest fan.

Camilla Edmunson - Olivia's best friend, who is obsessed with sci-fi books and comics.She is the director of the production of Romeo and Juliet.

Garrick Stephens - Ivy's enemy, who just so happens to be the leader of "The Beasts", a group of the lamest vampires at Franklin Grove.He gets the part of Romeo in Romeo and Juliet. He was found in a coffin one day which made Serena Star curious making her search for vampires.

Dylan Soyle, Kyle Glass, and Ricky Slitherman - Garrick Stephens annoying minions who'll do anything for their leader.

Charlotte Brown - The snobby cheer-leading captain of the Franklin Grove Devils Squad, who always seems to be jealous of Olivia and is Ivy's nemesis. She is also Ivy's next door neighbor.In Bat Pack she sends a tribute video about Jessica phelps making all of her fans hate her.

Katie and Allison and Sahra - Charlotte's minions, and are Ivy's enemies but aren't that bothersome to Ivy like Charlotte.

Aunt Rebecca - Olivia and Ivy's aunt and their mother's (Susannah Kendall) twin sister. She now owns a ranch in Beldrake where she and Susannah, Ivy and Olivia's mother, use to spend the summer when they were younger.Rebecca's personality is very similar to Olivia's.

Amy Teller - Jackson's agent. Famous quote "Jackson's going to make my hair all white", when in reality she gets it touched up every six weeks.She also knew about Jackson's and Olivia's relationship.
