Republica is a national daily newspaper published by New Republic Media Pvt. Ltd. in Kathmandu. The newspaper began its online edition on January 1, 2009 and print edition on April 24, 2009. Ameet Dhakal is the editor-in-chief of the newspaper.

The publication in owned by Gyawali family, who were co-founder of Nepal's top Kantipur Publications Pvt. Ltd. but they split in 2008.
