Musiri taluk is a taluk of Tiruchirapalli district of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The headquarters of the taluk is the town of Musiri.
Population
According to the 2001 census, the taluk of Musiri had a population of 221,055 with 110,763 males and 110,292 females. There were 996 women for every 1000 men. The taluk had a literacy rate of 71. The total number of households was 55,637.
