Contents
Club career
Hüseynov has been regular player for FK Mladost Lučani in the Serbian First League (second Serbian tier) where he played between January 2009 and January 2010. Previously he has played for FC Sheksna Cherepovets and FC Anzhi Makhachkala of Russia.[2]
FC Gabala
In 2011, he was signed by Gabala FC after impressing Tony Adams.[3] On 17 March 2011 Hüseynov made his debut for Gabala FC and also scored what turned out to be the winning goal[4] in their game against FK Mughan.
International career
In December 2010, he has received his first call up to Azerbaijan after impressing Berti Vogts and has been naturalised as citizen of Azerbaijan from Russian citizenship.[5][6]
He debuted against Hungary national football team on 9th February 2011.[7]
