The University of Applied Languages (German: Hochschule für Angewandte Sprachen) is a private university is a part of the Sprachen & Dolmetscher Institut Munich (Munich Institute of Language and Interpretation). It began its teaching activity in the winter term of 2007/2008.

It currently offers four programmes leading to a B.A. degree and three programmes that finish with a M.A. degree, all of which are situated in the field of Applied Linguistics.[1][2]
