A feature of the show is that all of the contestants are accompanied by their mothers.[1] The show is hosted by Akriti Kakkar and Ali Asgar, with Shubha Mudgal, Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani as judges.[2]
Format
Each child is given a mark out of 30. The two children with the lowest marks face off in the "danger zone". In the danger zone, first the child sings and then the mother sings. The judges deliberate and decide then come to a decision of who is eliminated. However, public voting (valid only from India) have seem to play a major in bringing the contestants in the danger zone fight.
