Muhammad Waseem (boxer)

Muhammad Waseem (b: 29 August 1987,[1] Quetta[1]) is an amateur Pakistani boxer.

Career

Waseem fights in the light weight (49 kg) class. He represented Pakistan at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi, India. He reached the semi-finals by defeating Ghanaian, Duke Micah in the quarter finals. In the semi-finals, he was defeated by Namibian, Japhet Uutoni and had to settle for the bronze medal.

At the 2010 Asian Games after defeating Iran's Masoud Rigi in the round of 32 he was defeated by India's Amandeep Singh in the round of 16.[2]
