Muhammad Robert Heft (born November 4, 1972) is a Canadian Islamic shelter president.
Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada into a German and Irish background, Mr. Heft spent his childhood and majority of his life in a small town outside Toronto. Raised as a nominal Protestant Christian, Mr. Heft spent most of his time admiring sport celebrities and dreamed of playing professional golf on the PGA Tour.[citation needed] Heft converted to Islam in 1998 after he "hit rock bottom".[1]
