Giesing is a Munich S-Bahn railway and U-Bahn interchange station in the Munich borough of Giesing on the U2, S3 and S7 lines. It is also served by route of the Munich tramway and acts as a transport hub for Munich's south-east.^[1]

Major development work is currently under way, as Giesing station has been labelled one of Munich's Zukunftsbahnhöfe ("next-gen stations") that shall serve both as transportation hub and shopping centres.
