Gillichthys setaMudsuckers (Gillichthys) is a genus of gobies, native to the coasts of Baja California and southern California. The name of the genus literally means "Gill's fish", in honor of ichthyologist and goby specialist Theodore Gill.
The genus consists of two species:
- Gillichthys mirabilis Cooper, 1864 - Longjaw mudsucker
- Gillichthys seta (Ginsburg, 1938) - Shortjaw mudsucker
