Mubarak Wadela Balochi (ملامبارک وادیلا) is the principal Kauhda or head man of Kulanch, Balochistan, Pakistan. He is a Mengal by origin, his ancestors having migrated from Wad. He lives at Nokbur and is one of the most influential men in Kech District.
He is married to the daughter of Mulla Khudadad, Headman of the Rais of Turbut,[clarification needed] who in his turn married Mulla Mubarak's mother on her first husband's death. These two men were largely responsible for the troubles which took place in 1898[clarification needed] and were among the chief advisors of Mir Mehrab Khan Gichki.
Mulla Mubarak hold his lands revenue-free both from the Gichkis and khan in virtue of his position and of the assistance he gives in collecting the revenue of Kulanch. He also receives an allowance of Rs.40 per mensem from the makran revenues. He ranks next to the Kauhda of Dasht and is the second of the supporters of the sardar of Kech District.
