Highschool Career
Keita currently plays for Prairie Seeds Academy, and has been there since 2009. He made several appearances in the forward position, but during the 2010 season, settled in at the defensive midfielder position, earning a starting position amongst many upperclassmen. His displays of consistency helped earn the Lycans their first ever state championship. [1] [2]. He also won the Most-Improved player award after winning the state competition.
Academy Career
Keita started off playing on Plymouth Soccer Association, before moving to the Minnesota Thunder Academy in 2010[3].In the 2010-2011 season, Keita made 11 appearances, including 4 starts.

Keita's football hero is Zinedine Zidane. He also plays on the same team as his brothers, Adama and Ibrahim Keita.
