Plot
When jockey Muggs is mistakenly accused of cheating in a big race, he gets disqualified and suspended from racing. To make matters worse, Muggs' horse is being threatened to be sent to the glue factory. It's up to the East Side Kids, with a little help from elderly horse-and-stable owner (Minerva Urecal) to keep the horse safe.
Production
- This is the only film in which Johnny Duncan is a member of the East Side Kids.
- Also appearing in this film is John H. Allen as 'Scruno'. While having the same character name as former East Side Kid "Sunshine Sammy" Morrison, the actual character appears to be different.
- Muggs' middle name is revealed to be "Aloysius". Leo Gorcey would later adopt this as his character middle name in the The Bowery Boys films.
