Mount Simsarian (86°6′S 132°50′W / 86.1°S 132.833°W) is a large mountain projecting from the east side of Michigan Plateau just south of the head of Gardiner Glacier. Mapped by United States Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1960-64. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for James Simsarian, Chief, Division of International Scientific and Technical Affairs, Department of State.
