Mount Minami-heito

Mount Minami-heito (69°17′S 39°48′E / 69.283°S 39.8°E / -69.283; 39.8) is a mountain (480 m) surmounting the southeast extremity of Langhovde Hills, on the coast of Queen Maud Land. Mapped from surveys and air photos by the Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition (JARE), 1957-62. The name "Minami-heito-zan" (south flat top mountain) was given by JARE Headquarters in 1973 and is in association with the name Mount Heito just northward.
