Mount Meeks (86°13′S 148°51′W / 86.217°S 148.85°W) is a mountain, 2,470 m, surmounting the rocky divide between the Griffith and Howe Glaciers, in the Queen Maud Mountains. Mapped by United States Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1960-63. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Lieutenant Harman T. Meeks of U.S. Navy Squadron VX-6, navigator on aircraft during Operation Deep Freeze 1966 and 1967.
