Mount Leland

Mount Leland (77°16′S 161°18′E / 77.267°S 161.3°E / -77.267; 161.3) is a rock peak 1 nautical mile (1.9 km) west of Victoria Upper Glacier in Victoria Land. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Captain Bainbridge B. Leland, USCG, Commanding Officer of USCGC Burton Island during Operation Deep Freeze 1968 and 1969.
