Mount Hyatt

Mount Hyatt (74°53′S 64°47′W / 74.883°S 64.783°W / -74.883; -64.783) is a mountain in the southern part of the Latady Mountains, about 5 nautical miles (9 km) northwest of Schmitt Mesa, in Palmer Land. Mapped by United States Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1961-67. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Gerson Hyatt, builder with the McMurdo Station winter party in 1967, who assisted in building the United States Antarctic Research Program (USARP) Plateau Station at 7915S, 4030E.
