Mount Hughes

Mount Hughes (79°31′S 157°23′E / 79.517°S 157.383°E / -79.517; 157.383) is a mountain, 2,250 m, midway between Mount Longhurst and Tentacle Ridge in the Cook Mountains. Discovered by the Discovery expedition (1901–04) and named for J.F. Hughes, an Honorary Secretary of the Royal Geographical Society, who helped in the preparation for the expedition.
