Mount Homard

Mount Homard (80°40′S 29°50′W / 80.667°S 29.833°W / -80.667; -29.833) is a mountain, 1,200 m, near the head of Blaiklock Glacier, 2 nautical miles (3.7 km) south of Trey Peaks in the west part of the Shackleton Range. First mapped in 1957 by the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition and named for Sgt. Major Desmond E.L. Homard, engineer with the advance party and transpolar party of the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition, 1955-58.
