Mount Hancox

Mount Hancox (72°38′S 166°59′E / 72.633°S 166.983°E / -72.633; 166.983) is a prominent mountain (3,245 m) about 6 nautical miles (11 km) southeast of Mount Burton, rising above the north margin of Malta Plateau in the Victory Mountains, Victoria Land. Named by the Mariner Glacier geology party of New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition (NZGSAE), 1966–67, for G.T. Hancox, senior geologist with the party in this area.
