Mount Dummett

Mount Dummett (73°11′S 64°1′E / 73.183°S 64.017°E / -73.183; 64.017) is an elongated mountain 11 nautical miles (20 km) east of Mount McCauley in the southern Prince Charles Mountains. Plotted from air photos taken by ANARE (Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions) in 1956. Named by Antarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) for R.B. Dummett, formerly Managing Director, B.P. Australia Ltd., in recognition of the valuable assistance given to ANARE by the company.
