Mount Dover (83°46′S 55°50′W / 83.767°S 55.833°W) is a mountain, 1,645 m, surmounting the southeast end of Gale Ridge where the ridge abuts the Washington Escarpment, in the Neptune Range, Pensacola Mountains. Mapped by United States Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1956-66. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for James H. Dover, geologist with the Patuxent Range field party, 1962-63.
