Mount Dietz (86°16′S 153°10′W / 86.267°S 153.167°W) is a mountain, 2,250 m, just north of the confluence of Souchez and Bartlett Glaciers where it marks the south limit of Hays Mountains in the Queen Maud Mountains. Mapped by United States Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1960-64. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Lieutenant D.L. Dietz, U.S. Navy, pilot on photographic flights during Operation Deep Freeze 1964 and 1965.
