Mount Darling (77°15′S 143°20′W / 77.25°S 143.333°W) is a highest peak of the Allegheny Mountains, standing 1 nautical mile (1.9 km) west of Mount Swartley in the Ford Ranges, Marie Byrd Land. Discovered on aerial flights from the West Base of United States Antarctic Service (USAS) in 1940, and named for Professor Chester A. Darling of Allegheny College, Meadville, Pennsylvania.
